Introduction

Accor, a global leader in hospitality and tourism, is seeking a dynamic Supervisor of Recreational Programs and Activities to join our vibrant team. This role is pivotal in delivering memorable guest experiences through expertly designed recreational programs, ensuring that every guest enjoys a safe, engaging, and enjoyable stay. The position is based at our property in Indonesia, with a work schedule of Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑17:00, and occasional shift work on weekends and public holidays as operational demands dictate.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of daily recreational activities, including sports, cultural events, and wellness programs, aligning with Accor’s brand standards.
  • Supervise a team of activity coordinators, lifeguards, and support staff, providing coaching, performance feedback, and on‑the‑job training.
  • Ensure all programs comply with safety regulations, maintain equipment, and conduct regular risk assessments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for guest inquiries, handling requests, special accommodations, and resolving any service issues promptly and professionally.
  • Collaborate closely with the Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Maintenance departments to ensure seamless guest flow and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators such as participation rates, guest satisfaction scores, and cost control metrics.
  • Develop promotional materials and digital content to market recreational offerings to both on‑site guests and the local community.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting enhancements to program design, scheduling, and staff deployment.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, incident reports, and guest feedback for audit and quality assurance purposes.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (D4) in Hospitality Management, Recreation, Sports Science, or a related field.
  • At least 1‑3 years of supervisory experience in a hospitality or recreational setting, preferably within an international hotel brand.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Professional appearance, guest‑oriented mindset, and a commitment to delivering service excellence.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Good command of English (spoken and written) is an advantage; additional language proficiency is a plus.
  • Detail‑oriented, responsible, proactive, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Leadership qualities suitable for future managerial progression within Accor.
