Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of operators, technicians, and junior supervisors across multiple shifts to achieve production schedules.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, scrap rate, downtime, and on‑time delivery, and implement corrective actions when targets are not met.
- Coordinate with the planning, quality assurance, and maintenance departments to ensure seamless material flow and equipment availability.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and ensure compliance with occupational health standards, especially in cold‑room conditions (maintained at 20 °C).
- Conduct regular shift briefings, on‑the‑job training, and performance reviews to develop team capabilities.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead continuous‑improvement projects using Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Oversee inventory control, manage work‑in‑process levels, and ensure accurate reporting of production data.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all equipment is calibrated and serviced according to schedule.
- Act as the primary point of contact for any operational issues that arise during the shift, escalating to senior management as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any discipline; candidates with a high school diploma (SMA) are considered if they have at least 6 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- At least 2 years of proven supervisory experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and people‑management skills with a track record of building high‑performing teams.
- Excellent analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including night and weekend schedules.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and work comfortably in a controlled cold environment (approximately 20 °C).
- Male candidates are preferred as per current operational requirements.
- Proficient in production control tools and familiar with ERP or MES systems.
