Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Consultant – Course Half‑Time to join our growing team at English 1, a leading provider of English language education. This part‑time role (30 hours per week) focuses on building strong relationships with prospective students and schools, promoting our curriculum, and achieving sales targets through both telesales and face‑to‑face interactions. The ideal candidate will combine a passion for education with proven sales acumen and a friendly, professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Introduce English 1’s course offerings and tailor study plans to meet the specific needs of each customer.
- Conduct outbound telesales calls and arrange in‑person visits to the English 1 centre, delivering persuasive product presentations.
- Explain the learning process, curriculum structure, and success pathways to potential students and their families.
- Maintain and exceed monthly sales targets by converting leads into enrolled students.
- Participate actively in regular sales training sessions, workshops, and product seminars to stay current on programme details and best‑practice selling techniques.
- Collaborate with the marketing, curriculum, and student‑services departments to ensure a seamless enrolment experience and high learner satisfaction.
- Develop and nurture long‑term relationships with customers, encouraging referrals and repeat business.
- Assist in planning and executing promotional events such as education expos, open houses, school visits, “Open Table” sessions, and community “Life Club” gatherings.
- Provide feedback to senior management on market trends, customer concerns, and opportunities for program enhancement.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions, leads, and sales outcomes in the company’s CRM system.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in sales, marketing, customer service, consulting, or the education sector.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets; persuasive, goal‑oriented, and comfortable with cold‑calling.
- Strong organizational abilities, with attention to detail in managing leads and follow‑ups.
- Self‑motivated, adaptable, and capable of working under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Friendly, pleasant personality with a genuine interest in helping learners achieve language proficiency.
- Availability to work a half‑time schedule (approximately 30 hours per week) during standard business hours (08:00 – 17:00).
- Familiarity with sales‑automation tools and CRM platforms is a plus.
