Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and customer‑focused Retail Sales Cashier to join our growing team. Responsibilities
- Operate the cash register and POS system efficiently, processing sales transactions, returns, and exchanges while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Provide courteous and knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering product inquiries, offering recommendations, and resolving any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring that all merchandise displays are tidy and that the work environment complies with safety standards.
- Handle cash, credit, and digital payments securely, perform end‑of‑day cash reconciliation, and prepare daily transaction reports for management.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to restock shelves, manage inventory levels, and execute promotional displays as directed.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new products, store policies, and emerging retail technologies.
- Monitor and report any discrepancies, suspected fraud, or technical issues with the POS system to the store supervisor.
- Adhere to the store’s operating hours (Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑17:00) and be flexible to work rotating shifts as needed.
Requirements
- Gender: Open to all genders; however, the current opening prioritizes female candidates aged 20‑30 years.
- Age: 20‑30 years.
- Education: Minimum SMK (vocational high school) diploma; D3/D4 degree preferred.
- Experience: At least 1 year of cash handling or retail sales experience.
- Key Skills: Proficiency with cash register systems, basic computer literacy, and the ability to learn new POS software quickly.
- Personal Attributes: Honest, presentable, communicative, team‑oriented, and possessing a good attitude.
- Availability: Must not be enrolled in any academic program during employment.
- Shift Work: Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
