Responsibilities

- Maintain pristine workstation cleanliness, ensuring all equipment—including espresso machines, grinders, and brewing devices—is calibrated, sanitized, and ready for service.
- Engage customers with friendly conversation, provide coffee education, and recommend menu items that match individual taste preferences.
- Manage cash transactions, process digital payments, and accurately handle POS reporting at the end of each shift.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and consumables; restock supplies and communicate re‑order needs to the store manager.
- Assist in training new barista teammates, sharing best practices for extraction, latte art, and customer service excellence.
- Adhere to food safety and health regulations, performing routine temperature checks and proper storage of perishable items.
- Contribute ideas for new drink concepts, seasonal promotions, and in‑store events that enhance the brand experience.
- Collaborate with the roasting team to stay updated on bean origins, flavor profiles, and brewing nuances.
- Handle occasional opening and closing duties, including equipment shutdown, cleaning schedules, and securing the premises.
