We are seeking a talented and detail‑oriented Cake Decorator to join our vibrant bakery team at the Alam Sutra Town Center (ASTC) in Serpong Utara, Banten. Responsibilities
- Interpret customer design requests and translate them into edible works of art, ensuring every cake matches the agreed‑upon specifications.
- Prepare cake bases, fillings, and frosting using industry‑standard techniques while maintaining high hygiene standards.
- Apply decorative elements such as fondant, buttercream, modeling chocolate, edible paints, and sugar flowers with precision and consistency.
- Maintain an organized workstation, manage inventory of decorating supplies, and reorder materials as needed.
- Collaborate closely with the sales and customer service teams to confirm order details, delivery timelines, and any special accommodations.
- Participate in regular skill‑enhancement workshops and stay current with emerging trends in cake design, confectionery, and food safety.
- Conduct on‑site testing of designs when required, demonstrating the ability to perform under time constraints.
- Adhere to the company’s schedule, working six days a week from 08:30 to 18:00, including holidays when needed.
- Document completed projects in the internal portfolio system for future reference and marketing purposes.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Female candidates aged 18‑25, unmarried and without children.
- Not currently enrolled in any academic program.
- Strong hand‑drawing ability and neat, legible writing skills.
- Fresh graduates or individuals without prior professional experience are welcome, provided they can demonstrate artistic competence.
- Excellent attention to detail, high initiative, reliability, and honesty.
- Ability to work full‑time (6 days/week) and attend a mandatory on‑site skills test.
- Willingness to commit to a one‑year contract.
