Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during examinations, preventive procedures, and minor surgical interventions, ensuring all instruments are prepared and sterilized according to strict infection‑control protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records, update treatment charts, and manage appointment scheduling using the clinic’s electronic health‑record system.
- Provide clear pre‑ and post‑treatment instructions to patients, answering questions about oral hygiene, medication, and follow‑up care.
- Perform basic dental radiography (X‑ray) under supervision, adhering to radiation safety guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies, order materials as needed, and ensure proper storage of consumables.
- Support front‑desk operations during peak hours, including greeting patients, verifying insurance details, and processing payments.
- Participate in regular team briefings, contribute ideas for workflow improvement, and assist in training new support staff.
- Uphold the clinic’s standards for cleanliness and safety by performing routine disinfection of treatment rooms and equipment.
- Engage in continuing education workshops and in‑house training sessions to stay current with emerging dental technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Female candidate, maximum age 25 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Preferably prior experience in a health‑care setting, especially dental assistance or nursing support.
- Strong interpersonal skills: friendly, honest, and able to build trust with patients of all ages.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Residency in East Jakarta (Jakarta Timur) is highly preferred.
- Basic knowledge of dental terminology, infection control, and patient management.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks such as record‑keeping, appointment coordination, and inventory management.
- Willingness to work flexible hours: Monday to Sunday, 08:00 – 20:00.
- Ability to communicate clearly in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is a plus.
