Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a wide variety of espresso‑based drinks, brewed coffees, teas, and specialty beverages according to company recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, coffee machines, grinders, and equipment throughout each shift.
- Provide friendly, attentive service, taking orders accurately, handling cash transactions, and operating the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Educate customers about menu items, coffee origins, brewing methods, and recommend pairings to enhance their experience.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate any shortages or equipment issues to the store manager.
- Adhere to health, safety, and food‑handling regulations, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and patrons.
- Participate in daily briefings, share feedback, and collaborate with team members to continuously improve service quality.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation, cleaning schedules, and securing the premises.
Requirements
- Gender: Male (as per company policy for this specific position).
- Age: 19 – 23 years old.
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Residence: Must be domiciled in Bogor or surrounding areas to ensure reliable punctuality.
- Experience: Previous experience in a coffee shop, café, or similar hospitality role is a strong advantage.
- Core Skills: Proficiency in basic barista techniques, including espresso extraction, milk frothing, and drink presentation.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal communication, ability to work under pressure, attention to detail, and a customer‑focused attitude.
- Availability: Able to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime during peak periods.
- Physical Ability: Capable of standing for long periods and handling light to moderate lifting of coffee beans, milk cartons, and supplies.
