Introduction
We are seeking an experienced Teknisi Jaringan Fiber Optik to join our dynamic telecommunications team. The role involves hands‑on installation, activation, and technical support for fiber‑to‑the‑home (FTTH) services and other broadband solutions. Successful candidates will work full‑time, Monday to Friday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with the possibility of overtime based on project demand. Responsibilities
- Perform on‑site installation and activation of fiber optic connections for residential and commercial customers.
- Provide remote and on‑site technical support, troubleshooting connectivity issues and ensuring service continuity.
- Configure and test network equipment such as OLTs, ONTs, splitters, and routers to meet service level agreements.
- Diagnose and resolve both hardware and software problems, documenting each case in the ticketing system.
- Educate customers on proper use of their fiber services, explaining technical concepts in clear, non‑technical language.
- Collaborate with the network operations center (NOC) to coordinate backbone maintenance and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, service reports, and inventory of tools and spare parts.
- Adhere to safety standards and company policies while handling fiber cables, connectors, and electrical equipment.
- Participate in periodic field audits to verify service quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Contribute ideas for process improvement, helping the team reduce mean time to repair (MTTR) and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Male candidates only; gender requirement reflects current operational policy.
- Maximum age of 32 years at the time of application.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent. Preferred technical diplomas in TKJ, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or any D3 program with at least an 85% grade. For bachelor’s degree holders, a minimum GPA of 3.00 is required.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in fiber optic or FTTH installation and maintenance, with solid understanding of backbone architecture.
- Strong knowledge of fiber optic principles, FTTH deployments, and general telecommunications/ISP technologies.
- Excellent technical aptitude, including the ability to read schematics, use testing equipment (OTDR, power meters), and perform splicing.
- Effective communication skills—both written and verbal—to interact professionally with customers and internal teams.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving ability, attention to detail, and a customer‑first mindset.
- Commitment to safety protocols and willingness to work in varied field conditions.
