Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Kepala Cabang (Branch Manager) for Pagar Alam Utara. This pivotal role reports directly to the Regional Operations Manager and is responsible for driving business growth, overseeing micro‑finance loan portfolios, and leading a dedicated team of field officers and loan officers. The successful candidate will act as the face of the organization in the district, building strong relationships with local communities, government officials, and partner institutions while ensuring compliance with all internal policies and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive market surveys and product awareness campaigns at the kecamatan and desa levels, tailoring presentations to the unique financial needs of small‑scale entrepreneurs.
- Organize, schedule, and lead regular meetings with local cooperatives (kumpulan), ensuring all approvals and documentation are secured in line with corporate procedures.
- Monitor, coach, and evaluate the performance of the branch team, setting clear KPIs and providing actionable feedback to improve sales conversion and loan recovery rates.
- Prepare daily forecasts of loan disbursements, partner onboarding, and financing demand, and communicate these insights to senior management and the branch team in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Perform periodic field visits to all registered cooperatives to assess loan utilization, repayment behavior, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Compile accurate monthly branch performance reports, highlighting key metrics such as portfolio growth, delinquency trends, and operational efficiency.
- Facilitate weekly branch meetings to review performance, discuss challenges, and develop strategic action plans for the upcoming week.
- Ensure strict adherence to risk management protocols, including credit assessment, collection procedures, and fraud prevention measures.
- Represent the branch in community events and local government forums, promoting the company’s mission of financial inclusion.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; all study fields accepted.
- Age: Up to 35 years.
- At least 2 years of experience in micro‑finance, small‑business lending, or related banking services.
- Proven supervisory or team‑leadership experience of 2 years or more.
- Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, high discipline, and unwavering honesty.
- Practical knowledge of credit analysis, loan processing, debt collection, and strategic branch management.
- Possession of a motorbike and a valid SIM C driving licence for field mobility.
- Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional travel to remote villages.
- Proficiency in Indonesian; additional language skills are a plus.
