Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of guest rooms, ensuring all linens, amenities, and surfaces meet five‑star quality standards.
- Maintain public areas such as lobbies, corridors, dining venues, and fitness facilities, keeping them tidy, well‑stocked, and visually appealing.
- Conduct routine inspections and quality‑control checks to verify that cleanliness levels comply with hotel policies and brand guidelines.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, or inventory shortages to the supervisory team promptly.
- Manage and replenish housekeeping supplies, including linens, toiletries, and cleaning agents, while adhering to cost‑control procedures.
- Collaborate closely with front‑desk, engineering, and food‑and‑beverage departments to coordinate room turnovers and special requests.
- Adhere to safety and hygiene protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment.
- Assist in training new team members on standard operating procedures, ensuring consistency across shifts.
- Work efficiently under high‑pressure periods, such as peak check‑in/check‑out times, while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Participate in periodic deep‑cleaning projects, carpet shampooing, and window washing as scheduled.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Open to all genders; however, the current vacancy specifies male candidates for operational balance.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively within a team and support fellow staff members.
- Demonstrated capacity to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is advantageous.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards (Quality Control of Cleanliness).
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift moderate loads, and stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00.
