Responsibilities
- Food Preparation: Cut, wash, marinate, and portion ingredients according to standardized recipes and portion control guidelines.
- Cooking & Assembly: Execute cooking techniques—sauté, grill, steam, fry, and bake—while following chef instructions to ensure consistency in flavor and presentation.
- Station Maintenance: Keep all workstations, utensils, and cooking equipment clean and organized throughout the shift.
- Sanitation & Hygiene: Adhere to strict food safety protocols, including proper hand washing, temperature monitoring, and regular sanitation of surfaces.
- Inventory Control: Receive deliveries, label stock, rotate inventory, and report any discrepancies or spoilage to the kitchen supervisor.
- Plating & Presentation: Arrange finished dishes attractively, garnish appropriately, and ensure each plate meets the visual standards set by the culinary team.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with chefs, fellow crew members, and front‑of‑house staff to guarantee smooth service flow.
- Continuous Improvement: Suggest menu enhancements, propose efficiency improvements, and participate in regular training sessions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 35 years old.
- Gender: All genders are welcome.
- Work experience: At least 1 year in a kitchen or food‑service environment.
- Core skills: Proven cooking ability, strong knowledge of hygiene standards, and the capacity to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
- Soft skills: Good communication, teamwork, punctuality, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward learning.
- Physical ability: Capable of standing for long periods, lifting up to 15 kg, and working in a fast‑paced environment.
- Availability: Willing to work the scheduled shift from 07:00 – 16:00, with flexibility for occasional overtime or weekend coverage as needed.
