We are seeking a dedicated Senior Pharmacist (Apoteker Senior) to join the pharmacy team at a leading public hospital in Indonesia. The ideal candidate will be a motivated woman, up to 28 years of age, with a solid high‑school or vocational education background, a strong sense of responsibility, and a collaborative spirit.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily pharmacy operations, including dispensing, compounding, and inventory management.
- Review medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and potential drug interactions, providing clinical recommendations to physicians and nursing staff.
- Maintain and update the hospital’s drug formulary in line with national guidelines and emerging evidence‑based practices.
- Conduct medication reconciliation for admitted, transferred, and discharged patients to prevent errors.
- Educate patients and their families on proper medication usage, potential side effects, and adherence strategies.
- Mentor junior pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and interns, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, nurses, dietitians) to develop individualized therapeutic plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and hospital policies.
- Participate in hospital committees, quality improvement projects, and research initiatives related to pharmacotherapy.
- Manage procurement processes, negotiate with suppliers, and oversee the storage conditions of pharmaceuticals to guarantee product integrity.
Requirements
- Gender: Female
- Maximum age: 28 years
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent
- No concurrent employment or ongoing academic studies
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- High level of honesty, discipline, and accountability
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, especially verbal communication
- Basic understanding of pharmacy operations and medication safety principles
- Willingness to work a six‑day workweek (Monday to Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00
