Introduction
SPX Express, a leading logistics and supply‑chain solutions provider in Indonesia, is expanding its operations in the Matesih district of Karanganyar, Central Java. We are looking for a proactive and experienced Shift Lead to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth flow of parcels from the first mile through to the last mile, maintaining high service level agreements (SLAs) and supporting our commitment to timely, reliable deliveries for both B2B and B2C customers.
Responsibilities
- Monitor the daily delivery performance of motorbike and van couriers, ensuring compliance with route plans and SLA targets.
- Oversee inbound and outbound activities, coordinating closely with third‑party logistics (3PL) partners to guarantee seamless hand‑offs.
- Supervise sorting and distribution processes, identifying bottlenecks and implementing corrective actions to improve throughput.
- Lead a team of courier drivers, creating and adjusting shift schedules, assigning loads, and providing real‑time support during peak periods.
- Map delivery zones, design optimal routes, and calculate operational costs such as fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance, and overtime.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coach staff on safe driving practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the planning, shipping, and warehousing departments to align daily operations with overall network strategy.
- Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on‑time delivery, order accuracy, and cost efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and company policies while working in a rotating shift system.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in any field.
- At least 1 year of supervisory or coordination experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related industry.
- Hands‑on knowledge of first‑mile, middle‑mile, and last‑mile operations.
- Strong understanding of planning, shipping, and warehousing processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Proficiency in route‑mapping tools and basic Excel or ERP systems.
- Willingness to work shifting schedules, including weekends (Monday‑Saturday, 09:30‑18:30).
- Residency in or willingness to relocate to Kec. Matesih, Kab. Karanganyar, Central Java.
