Amartha, a leading micro‑finance institution in Indonesia, is expanding its field operations in the Gunung Kencana area of Lebak, Banten. We are looking for a dynamic Business Partner who will act as the bridge between our innovative financial products and low‑income households seeking sustainable economic empowerment. Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential new clients, introducing them to Amartha’s micro‑loan programs and other financial services.
- Provide ongoing economic coaching to member households, helping them manage budgets, plan investments, and improve financial literacy.
- Conduct on‑site surveys and perform detailed feasibility analyses of loan applications, ensuring compliance with Amartha’s underwriting standards, risk policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present well‑documented recommendations to the credit committee for loan approval decisions.
- Facilitate weekly member meetings, monitor repayment schedules, and support transaction processing to maintain high portfolio quality.
- Collaborate with local community leaders, NGOs, and social groups to deepen outreach and strengthen Amartha’s presence in the region.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, field visits, and performance metrics using Amartha’s digital reporting tools.
- Participate in continuous training sessions on product updates, compliance changes, and best practices in micro‑finance outreach.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum D3/D4 (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree); candidates with a high school (SMA/SMK) background are also considered if they demonstrate strong relevant experience.
- Age: Maximum 33 years (preferred 28 years or younger for the field‑based position).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience in sales, community development, micro‑finance, or a related field.
- Transportation: Must own and be able to operate a motorcycle for daily field visits.
- Core Competencies: Strong communication skills, high integrity, attention to detail, perseverance, and a hard‑working mindset.
- Community Involvement: Prior participation in social groups, NGOs, or community activities is highly valued.
