Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Officer (Marketing) to join our team in Kutacane. This role is pivotal in expanding our market footprint by promoting company products to both existing and new customers. The ideal candidate will combine strong interpersonal skills with a solid understanding of credit processes and distribution channels, ensuring seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Actively market and present the company’s product portfolio to existing clients and prospective customers.
- Generate orders through various distribution channels, including direct outreach, dealer networks, and retail partners.
- Collect initial customer data, verify information, and assemble all necessary documentation for credit applications.
- Monitor the progress of each credit application, liaising with internal credit teams to obtain timely decisions.
- Communicate credit approvals or rejections to dealers and customers, providing clear explanations and next steps.
- Inform customers about payment schedules, due dates, payment locations, and any additional requirements to ensure smooth transactions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and order statuses within the CRM system.
- Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and finance departments to align sales initiatives with broader business objectives.
- Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to propose improvements to product offerings and sales strategies.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings, providing updates on pipeline status and sharing best practices with the team.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 in any discipline; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Age limit: 30 years or younger.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar sales or marketing role (preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, with proven negotiation skills.
- High integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Own reliable transportation and a valid active SIM A/C license.
- Proficiency in B2C sales management, customer‑oriented selling techniques, and achieving sales targets.
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
- Willingness to be placed in a location that matches the candidate’s domicile.
