Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Sales Officer to join the Chief Marketing Office (CMO) team in Majene. This role is pivotal in expanding our market footprint, nurturing relationships with existing and new customers, and driving revenue through effective sales and credit management. The ideal candidate will combine strong interpersonal skills with a solid understanding of B2C sales processes, and will thrive in a fast‑moving, customer‑focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell the company’s product portfolio to both existing accounts and prospective customers across the Majene region.
  • Identify, qualify, and secure orders from channel distribution partners, ensuring accurate initial data capture.
  • Conduct thorough verification of customer information and complete all required documentation for credit applications.
  • Monitor the progress of credit applications, providing timely updates and decisions to dealers and customers.
  • Communicate payment schedules, due dates, and collection locations, ensuring customers are fully informed of their obligations.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date records in the CRM system, generate sales reports, and analyse performance against targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing, finance, and logistics teams to resolve any order‑related issues and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Participate in regular field visits, product demonstrations, and trade shows to increase brand visibility.
  • Provide feedback on market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to support strategic planning.
  • Mentor junior sales staff and share best practices to uplift the overall sales capability of the team.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum D3/D4 (all majors) – candidates with relevant technical or business backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
  • Age: Maximum 30 years.
  • Gender: Open to all genders.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in B2C sales, preferably within a distribution or credit‑focused environment.
  • Core Skills:
    • Sales management (B2C)
    • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
    • Negotiation and closing techniques
    • Attention to detail and integrity in handling credit documents
    • Ability to work independently and persistently (ulet)
    • Honesty and ethical conduct
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Valid driver’s license (SIM A/C) and personal vehicle for field visits.
    • Proficiency with CRM and Microsoft Office tools.
    • Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00.
