Introduction

We are seeking a highly motivated Professional Tax Accountant with Audit Experience to join our finance team. This role is essential for ensuring accurate tax compliance, efficient procurement processes, and smooth cash management within a dynamic, fast‑growing organization. The ideal candidate holds at least a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, possesses a minimum of one year of relevant experience, and demonstrates strong analytical abilities coupled with excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Purchase Order Management: Create and process Purchase Requests (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO), verify invoices, and ensure proper issuance of tax invoices (Faktur Pajak).
  • Petty Cash Administration: Record petty cash transactions using the company’s accounting system, perform reconciliations, and conduct regular cash checks.
  • Expedition Debt Reconciliation: Compile and verify expedition liabilities, compare pricing against contracts, and lodge complaints for any over‑charges.
  • Insurance Payable Tracking: Review insurance receipts and invoices, calculate payments using the prevailing Sinarmas exchange rate, and post entries to the system.
  • BPJS Management: Administer employee BPJS Kesehatan and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan contributions, ensuring timely registration and payment.
  • Tax Withholding Calculations: Compute service fees subject to a 2 % withholding tax for PPh 23 reporting.
  • PPh 23 Reporting: Prepare, email, and file PPh 23 data, dispatch withholding certificates to customers, and verify associated tax returns (SPT).
  • PPh 21 Reporting: Manage monthly PPh 21 data, coordinate email distribution, and file supporting documentation.
  • VAT (PPN) Reporting: Consolidate input and output VAT data, send reports via email, and ensure proper filing of VAT returns and related attachments.
  • Bank Correspondence: Draft and submit RTE letters to BCA for Simodis processing, monitor email confirmations, and follow up on outstanding items.
  • Export Documentation: Verify NPE and PEB export documents, file them appropriately, and input data for Simodis (Reksus) special accounts.
  • General Financial Controls: Perform routine checks, support month‑end closing activities, and collaborate with auditors during internal and external audit cycles.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 1 year of professional experience in tax accounting, audit, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian tax regulations (PPh 21, PPh 23, PPN, BPJS).
  • Excellent analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Integrity, confidentiality, and a proactive attitude toward problem‑solving.
