Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of espresso‑based drinks, pour‑overs, cold brews, and specialty beverages according to standardized recipes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked work station, including the espresso machine, grinders, and brewing equipment.
- Ensure proper calibration of equipment daily to guarantee consistency in taste and presentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders accurately, and offering knowledgeable recommendations on coffee blends and menu items.
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards, including regular cleaning of equipment and compliance with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during peak hours, especially Monday through Saturday from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on new coffee trends, brewing techniques, and customer service best practices.
- Contribute ideas for menu enhancements, seasonal promotions, and community events to drive foot traffic and brand loyalty.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Age: 18‑25 years old.
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Residency: Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Tangerang.
- Experience: At least 1 year of proven barista experience in a café, restaurant, or similar F&B setting.
- Core skills: Strong knowledge of coffee beans, grind sizes, extraction times, and latte art techniques.
- Personal attributes: Honest, quick‑thinking, disciplined, and highly reliable.
- Communication: Excellent verbal skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English to interact effectively with diverse customers.
- Passion for the food & beverage industry and a genuine interest in coffee culture.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also handling independent tasks.
