Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of espresso‑based drinks, teas, and specialty beverages according to standardized recipes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and in good working order.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation, plating, and stock replenishment when assigned to the kitchen role.
- Provide friendly, courteous service to customers, taking orders accurately and addressing any inquiries or special requests.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point‑of‑sale system with precision.
- Adhere to health, safety, and hygiene protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Collaborate with team members to manage shift flow, especially during peak morning and evening periods.
- Participate in regular training sessions to improve coffee knowledge, brewing techniques, and customer service skills.
- Report any equipment issues or supply shortages to the shift supervisor promptly.
- Maintain a positive attitude, demonstrate reliability, and contribute ideas for menu innovation and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Open to all genders; males preferred for part‑time Junior Barista role, females for full‑time Kitchen Staff role.
- No prior experience required; basic barista or kitchen skill sets are acceptable.
- Excellent communication skills and a pleasant demeanor.
- Strong work ethic: punctual, disciplined, honest, and creative.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings or late evenings.
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, with no conflicting commitments such as school or other jobs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 kg when necessary.
