Introduction
We are a fast‑growing laundry service provider dedicated to delivering spotless, fresh‑clean garments and linens to residential and corporate clients across the region. This role is ideal for recent high school graduates, vocational school alumni, or university students who are eager to gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic, customer‑focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and categorize incoming laundry loads according to fabric type, colour, and care instructions.
- Operate industrial washing machines, dryers, and ironing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre‑treatment of stains, apply appropriate detergents, and monitor cycle times to ensure optimal cleaning results.
- Conduct quality checks on finished items, folding or hanging them neatly and preparing them for delivery or client pick‑up.
- Maintain accurate inventory of detergents, softeners, and other consumables; report low stock levels to the supervisor.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with health‑and‑safety regulations, including proper disposal of waste water and chemicals.
- Collaborate with team members on shift handovers, ensuring seamless continuity of service during the 08:00‑17:00 schedule.
- Provide courteous assistance to customers when required, answering basic queries about service status or special handling instructions.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; vocational training in textile care is a plus.
- Age: preferably up to 27 years old; however, all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Gender: open to all genders, with a preference for female applicants as per operational needs.
- Demonstrated responsibility, discipline, and honesty in previous work or academic settings.
- Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently.
- Willingness to work a structured shift system from Monday to Saturday (08:00‑17:00).
- Prior experience in a laundry or hospitality environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Current university students are welcome to apply, provided they can meet the shift requirements.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards.
