Responsibilities
- Operate the point‑of‑sale (POS) system to accurately process food and beverage orders, handle cash, and manage electronic payments.
- Prepare a wide range of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages following BP Sentul’s standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Assemble and plate food items such as pastries, sandwiches, and salads, ensuring freshness and visual appeal.
- Deliver orders promptly to customers’ tables, confirming order accuracy and addressing any special requests.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, including regular wiping of equipment, countertops, and coffee machines.
- Perform general cleaning duties throughout the café, such as sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal, to uphold health and safety standards.
- Conduct daily stock checks, record inventory levels, and assist with restocking supplies during low‑traffic periods.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth opening, middle, and closing shifts, including proper cash reconciliation and equipment shutdown.
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner, offering product knowledge, answering questions, and handling feedback or complaints gracefully.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on new menu items, brewing techniques, and customer service best practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in a café, restaurant, or similar hospitality setting; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Maximum age: 26 years (flexible for exceptional candidates).
- Residence located near BP Sentul or willingness to commute.
- Strong work ethic: active, quick‑thinking, initiative‑driven, and highly dedicated.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: honest, polite, courteous, and able to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
- Well‑groomed appearance with a professional uniform and personal hygiene standards.
- Availability to work rotating shifts (opening, middle, closing), weekends, public holidays, and special events.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Basic proficiency with bar equipment, coffee grinders, espresso machines, and POS software.
- Public speaking confidence for occasional product demonstrations or café events.
