Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive prenatal assessments, including physical examinations, health history reviews, and risk‑identification.
- Provide education and counseling to expectant mothers on nutrition, birth planning, and newborn care.
- Assist physicians and senior midwives during labor, delivery, and post‑partum periods, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and patient safety standards.
- Perform routine post‑natal examinations, monitor infant growth, and support breastfeeding initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in accordance with hospital policies and national regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including obstetricians, pediatricians, nurses, and social workers—to develop individualized care plans.
- Participate in community outreach programs, health fairs, and prenatal workshops to promote maternal health awareness.
- Stay current with advances in obstetric care by attending trainings, seminars, and professional development courses.
- Assist in the preparation and management of the Service Implementation Permit (SIP) and ensure all licensing documents remain up‑to‑date.
- Demonstrate meticulous attention to cleanliness, infection control, and equipment maintenance within the maternity ward.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D‑III Kebidanan (associate degree in Midwifery) or higher (D4/Bachelor).
- Active Surat Tanda Registrasi (STR) and willingness to obtain or renew the Service Implementation Permit (SIP) as required.
- Open to candidates of any gender; inclusive hiring practices are upheld.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; however, prior clinical experience in obstetrics is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
