Introduction

Responsibilities
- Oversee the full accounting cycle, including journal entry preparation, ledger reconciliation, and month‑end/quarter‑end close processes.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses to support senior decision‑making.
- Develop, monitor, and update the annual budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with department heads.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, tax filings, and statutory reporting deadlines.
- Lead a team of accountants and junior staff, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
- Implement and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Coordinate external audits, respond to auditor inquiries, and act as the primary point of contact for audit firms.
- Utilize financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel functions to streamline processes and improve data accuracy.
- Identify cost‑saving opportunities through detailed cost accounting, variance tracking, and process improvements.
- Support cross‑functional projects by providing financial insights, risk assessments, and profitability analysis.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 5 years of finance and accounting experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS, financial management principles, and regulatory compliance; proficiency with financial ERP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Analytical Abilities: Excellent problem‑solving, data‑analysis, and decision‑making capabilities.
- Leadership Qualities: Demonstrated ability to motivate teams, manage workloads, and drive performance improvement.
