Introduction
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior IT Solutions & Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic technology team. This role is pivotal in designing, managing, and optimizing the core data and infrastructure platforms that power our business operations. Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and continuously optimize relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) to meet business‑critical performance and scalability requirements.
- Perform regular backup, recovery, and database tuning activities, ensuring data integrity, security, and high availability.
- Administer and maintain Linux‑based servers, applying patches, managing users, and monitoring system health.
- Deploy, configure, and manage container platforms such as Docker and Podman, and orchestrate workloads using Kubernetes or OpenShift.
- Support CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Tekton, ArgoCD) by integrating automated testing, code quality checks, and deployment workflows.
- Develop, debug, and enhance internal applications, improving performance and reliability through rigorous testing and profiling.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Loki to provide real‑time visibility into system behavior.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including developers, QA engineers, and product owners—to ensure seamless integration of new features and services.
- Analyze incidents, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement preventive measures to minimize downtime.
- Continuously learn emerging technologies and share knowledge with teammates to foster a culture of innovation.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably a diploma (D3), associate, or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in database administration, Linux system administration, or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals; experience with PHP, Java, JavaScript, or Python is a plus.
- Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) and concepts such as replication, clustering, and high‑availability architectures.
- Hands‑on experience with Linux system administration, including shell scripting (Bash) and version control (Git).
- Solid knowledge of container technologies (Docker/Podman) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Tekton, ArgoCD) and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience with monitoring and logging stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki) for proactive system observability.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset; ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Additional assets: knowledge of ETL processes, RHCSA certification, or 1‑2 years of related industry experience.
