Introduction
SPX Express, a leading provider of end‑to‑end logistics solutions in Indonesia, is seeking a dynamic Hub Lead for its Denpasar Barat hub in Kota Denpasar, Bali. This pivotal role ensures that every parcel moves smoothly from the point of pickup through to final delivery, maintaining the high standards of speed and reliability that SPX Express is known for. The successful candidate will join a collaborative team, work Monday through Friday from 09:30 am to 06:30 pm, and will be based in the vibrant island province of Bali.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and guarantee on‑time delivery of parcels, overseeing the entire journey from collection to customer receipt.
- Coordinate daily operations with the Warehouse team, Line Haul drivers, and third‑party logistics (3PL) partners to synchronize shipment schedules.
- Implement loss‑prevention measures to minimize the risk of missing or damaged packages, including regular audits and real‑time tracking.
- Maintain accurate records of all hub transactions, ensuring data integrity for inbound and outbound flows.
- Supervise inbound receiving activities and outbound dispatch processes, optimizing layout and workflow to boost throughput.
- Lead, coach, and develop hub staff, conducting performance reviews, on‑the‑job training, and continuous improvement workshops.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery punctuality, order accuracy, and hub capacity utilization, and propose actionable improvements.
- Serve as the primary point of escalation for any operational issues, ensuring swift resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the planning department to align hub resources with seasonal volume spikes and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and local labor laws throughout hub activities.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in any field is a strong plus.
- At least 3 years of supervisory or coordination experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related industry.
- Proven hands‑on experience with both Last Mile and First Mile operations.
- Deep understanding of planning, shipping, and warehousing processes, including inventory control and route optimization.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) for data analysis and reporting.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities for effective coordination with internal teams and external partners.
- Problem‑solving mindset, capable of making decisions under pressure while maintaining service quality.
- Willingness to reside in or relocate to Denpasar Barat, Kota Denpasar, Bali.
