Responsibilities
- Assist senior chefs in preparing ingredients, including washing, chopping, and portioning vegetables, meats, and other items.
- Maintain a spotless and organized workstation, adhering to strict hygiene and food safety standards.
- Support the cooking process by monitoring timers, stirring, and plating under the direct supervision of the head chef.
- Handle basic inventory tasks such as receiving deliveries, checking product quality, and restocking supplies.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours, especially between 10:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
- Participate in daily cleaning routines, including sanitizing equipment, floors, and storage areas.
- Assist with the preparation of international dishes, learning presentation techniques and flavor profiles.
- Communicate effectively with front‑of‑house staff to coordinate order flow and resolve any service issues.
- Adapt to shifting schedules, including weekend shifts, to meet the restaurant’s operational needs.
Requirements
- Male candidate, maximum age of 35 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- No prior experience required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Demonstrated reliability, hard‑working attitude, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and follow instructions accurately.
- Basic communication skills and a courteous approach to guest interaction.
- Adaptability to fast‑changing kitchen demands and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Interest in international cuisine and a desire to develop culinary presentation skills.
