Introduction
Adira Finance is seeking a motivated Officer Remedial (Collection) to join our dynamic team in the Pondok Gede area, serving the greater Jabodetabek region. This position plays a critical role in safeguarding the company’s cash flow by ensuring timely recovery of overdue accounts receivable (A/R). The successful candidate will work closely with the Credit Management and Customer Service departments, applying strong analytical and interpersonal skills to achieve collection targets while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end‑to‑end collection process for all overdue loans, ensuring that payments are recovered in accordance with agreed timelines.
- Monitor daily A/R aging reports, identify high‑risk accounts, and prioritize collection activities based on risk exposure.
- Initiate contact with delinquent borrowers via phone, email, and in‑person visits, clearly communicating repayment options and negotiating mutually acceptable payment plans.
- Prepare and submit accurate collection status reports to senior management, highlighting trends, challenges, and success metrics.
- Collaborate with the Credit Approval team to verify borrower information, assess credit risk, and recommend adjustments to credit policies when necessary.
- Maintain detailed records of all collection activities in the company’s CRM system, ensuring data integrity and compliance with internal audit standards.
- Assist in the development of collection strategies, including the use of legal actions, third‑party agencies, and alternative dispute resolution when appropriate.
- Provide feedback and insights to the product development team to help shape future loan products that balance profitability with borrower affordability.
- Uphold all regulatory and compliance requirements related to debt collection, including data privacy and fair‑debt‑collection practices.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current on industry best practices, negotiation techniques, and changes in financial regulations.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (Associate) or S1 (Bachelor) in any field; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Maximum age: 30 years.
- Gender: Male (as per current company policy).
- At least 1 year of experience in collections, credit monitoring, or related financial services is preferred; however, strong potential candidates with relevant internships will be considered.
- Solid understanding of multi‑finance business processes and a strong target‑orientation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with proven negotiation abilities.
- High level of integrity, perseverance, attention to detail, and honesty.
- Proficiency in credit monitoring, debt collection processes, and interpersonal communication.
- Willingness to work on a schedule of Monday to Saturday, 08:00 – 16:00, based on the candidate’s domicile within the Adira Finance service area.
