Introduction
The Officer Remedial Penagihan position is a vital role within our Singaraja branch, dedicated to managing and accelerating the collection of overdue accounts receivable (A/R). As part of BNT’s commitment to financial excellence and customer satisfaction, the successful candidate will act as a bridge between the bank and its clients, ensuring timely payment recovery while maintaining strong, respectful relationships.
This full‑time position operates from Monday to Saturday, 08:00‑16:00, and offers a dynamic environment where analytical thinking, proactive communication, and problem‑solving skills are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily A/R aging reports to identify overdue accounts and prioritize collection activities.
- Conduct timely phone calls, emails, and in‑person visits to customers with outstanding balances, clearly communicating payment expectations and options.
- Prepare and submit detailed collection status reports to branch management, highlighting trends, risk factors, and recovery rates.
- Collaborate with the branch’s credit and risk teams to develop tailored remediation plans for high‑risk clients.
- Assist in the resolution of problematic partner accounts by coordinating with legal, compliance, and senior management as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection interactions within the bank’s CRM system, ensuring data integrity and audit readiness.
- Educate customers on the benefits of timely payments and offer guidance on available repayment schedules or restructuring options.
- Support the branch in achieving its overall collection targets and contribute ideas for process improvement.
- Participate in regular training sessions on negotiation techniques, regulatory compliance, and customer service excellence.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA), Vocational School (SMK), or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 34 years old.
- Gender: Male (as per the specific posting requirements).
- Zero to two years of experience in collections, customer service, or related fields is acceptable; fresh graduates with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English proficiency is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with basic banking software or CRM tools.
