Introduction

Our state‑of‑the‑art facilities supply reliable, high‑efficiency boiler systems to petrochemical plants, food processing factories, and large‑scale manufacturing operations. We are currently seeking a dedicated Operator Boiler – Operasi & Pemeliharaan to join our Gresik site. This role is critical for maintaining continuous, safe, and environmentally‑compliant boiler operations that support our clients’ production lines.
Responsibilities
- Start‑up, monitor, and shut down large coal‑fired boilers (capacity ≥ 20 tons) in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety regulations.
- Control fuel feed, air‑fuel ratio, and combustion temperature to optimize efficiency and minimize emissions.
- Conduct routine inspections of boiler components, including burners, pressure vessels, safety valves, and auxiliary equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning soot blowers, checking water treatment systems, and lubricating moving parts.
- Identify and troubleshoot abnormal operating conditions, log incidents, and coordinate corrective actions with the maintenance team.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, shift reports, and regulatory documentation required by local environmental agencies.
- Operate and maneuver forklifts to transport coal, ash, and spare parts within the boiler yard safely.
- Participate in emergency response drills, fire‑suppression activities, and lock‑out/tag‑out procedures.
- Collaborate with engineers and supervisors to implement process improvements and energy‑saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Requirements
- Male candidates, maximum age 45 years.
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience operating large‑capacity coal‑fired boilers (20 tons or more).
- Valid forklift operator certification and practical experience.
- Strong understanding of boiler control systems, pressure gauges, and safety interlocks.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; ability to follow written instructions and complete reports accurately.
- Willingness to attend an in‑person interview at our Gresik facility.
- Commitment to work a six‑day week schedule (Monday – Saturday) from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Physical fitness to handle manual tasks, climb ladders, and work in hot environments.
