Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and professional Pengemudi Logistik to join our fast‑growing Food & Beverage (F&B) logistics team. In this role, you will be the vital link between our warehouses, suppliers, and the numerous restaurants, cafes, and retail outlets that rely on timely, safe delivery of fresh ingredients and beverages. The ideal candidate is a disciplined driver with a solid understanding of food‑handling standards, excellent route planning abilities, and a strong commitment to customer service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver raw food materials, beverages, and finished products from central warehouses or supplier facilities to designated outlets, ensuring strict adherence to the daily delivery schedule.
- Verify that each shipment matches its accompanying documentation (surat jalan, invoice, packing list) before loading and after delivery.
- Maintain the integrity of perishable items by using appropriate temperature controls, securing loads, and preventing contamination during transit.
- Conduct comprehensive pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections, checking fuel levels, engine health, tire pressure, cleanliness, and the presence of all required permits and insurance papers.
- Assist with loading and unloading when necessary, employing proper lifting techniques to protect both the cargo and personal safety.
- Report any delivery disruptions, damaged goods, or vehicle issues promptly to the logistics supervisor and document corrective actions.
- Follow optimized routing plans, adjusting in real time for traffic conditions, road closures, or emergency requests while ensuring on‑time arrival.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean to uphold food safety standards and present a professional image to clients.
- Collect signed delivery receipts, return all paperwork to the logistics office, and update the digital tracking system.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff, inventory controllers, and outlet managers to resolve any discrepancies and improve overall delivery efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Valid SIM A or SIM B1 with a clean driving record.
- At least 1 year of experience as a logistics or distribution driver, preferably within the F&B sector.
- Demonstrated knowledge of local delivery routes and distribution zones.
- Physically fit to handle loading tasks and to endure long hours on the road.
- Strong sense of discipline, punctuality, and accountability.
- Basic understanding of food handling and hygiene regulations (a distinct advantage).
- Willingness to work flexible schedules, including overtime and weekend shifts when demand spikes.
- Excellent communication skills, honesty, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with warehouse teams and outlet personnel.
- Proficiency with basic logistics software or mobile tracking apps is a plus.
