Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pelayan (Waiter) dan Kasir to join our vibrant customer‑service team. This dual‑role position combines front‑of‑house hospitality with point‑of‑sale (POS) expertise, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless dining experience from the moment they are seated until they settle the bill. Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly, present menus, and answer questions about dishes, specials, and dietary options.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, communicate them efficiently to the kitchen, and ensure timely delivery to tables.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well‑stocked dining area, including setting and clearing tables, polishing cutlery, and monitoring table turnover.
- Operate the cash register and POS system, process cash, credit, and electronic payments, and issue receipts with precision.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve minor complaints with professionalism and a customer‑centric approach.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, fellow waitstaff, and management to coordinate service flow and uphold quality standards.
- Monitor inventory of dining supplies (napkins, condiments, glassware) and report shortages to supervisors.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations, including proper hand‑washing and equipment sanitization.
- Demonstrate initiative by suggesting service improvements, assisting teammates during peak periods, and participating in training sessions.
- Maintain loyalty and a strong work ethic, arriving on time for scheduled shifts and adhering to the restaurant’s policies.
Requirements
- Gender: Female (per company policy for this role).
- Maximum age: 26 years.
- Education: Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a waiter and cashier (minimum 0 years, but experience is strongly preferred).
- Excellent communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Strong teamwork orientation with the ability to cooperate effectively with kitchen and service staff.
- Self‑motivation and initiative – capable of handling tasks independently when required.
- Demonstrated loyalty and reliability in previous employment or internships.
- Basic math skills and familiarity with standard POS software; willingness to learn our proprietary system.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, 08:00 – 17:00, including occasional overtime during peak periods.
