Introduction
We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Production Officer (SPM Jig) to join our manufacturing team located in the Kab. Grobogan region. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our production lines run smoothly, efficiently, and meet the high quality standards that our customers expect. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, a keen understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of daily production activities for jig manufacturing, ensuring adherence to the master production schedule.
- Monitor production KPIs such as throughput, cycle time, and defect rates, and generate regular performance reports for management.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work orders, inventory levels, and machine settings using Microsoft Office tools and ERP systems.
- Identify bottlenecks in the workflow, propose corrective actions, and implement process improvements to increase overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Collaborate with engineering, quality assurance, and maintenance departments to resolve technical issues and ensure product specifications are met.
- Participate in daily briefings and shift handovers, communicating any changes in production plans or safety protocols.
- Support the training of new staff on standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safe handling of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, performing routine safety checks and reporting hazards promptly.
- Contribute ideas during continuous improvement initiatives, such as Kaizen events, to drive lean manufacturing practices.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in any discipline; technical or engineering backgrounds are a plus.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing production processes, preferably in metalworking or jig production.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic data analysis skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Willingness to be placed in Kab. Grobogan and travel to the plant as required.
