Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Professional Kitchen Operations Specialist to join our fast‑paced culinary team. This role is essential to maintaining the efficiency, safety, and quality of all kitchen activities in a high‑volume restaurant environment. Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily kitchen workflows, ensuring that all stations are stocked, clean, and ready for service.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers, following safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist chefs and line cooks with food preparation, portion control, and plating to uphold consistent quality.
- Monitor inventory levels, record usage, and communicate reorder needs to the purchasing department.
- Conduct routine inspections of food storage areas to guarantee proper temperature control and compliance with health regulations.
- Support waste‑reduction initiatives by tracking ingredient usage and suggesting menu adjustments when appropriate.
- Maintain clear and respectful communication with team members, reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
- Participate in regular training sessions on new cooking techniques, menu updates, and safety protocols.
- Assist in the preparation for special events, banquets, and large‑scale catering orders, ensuring timely execution.
- Document daily production logs and provide feedback to management on workflow improvements.
Requirements
