Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, presenting menus and explaining daily specials with confidence.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, input them into the POS system, and communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to kitchen staff.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely delivery of dishes, maintaining a smooth flow of service during peak periods.
- Monitor tables continuously, refilling drinks, clearing used plates, and responding to guest needs before they are voiced.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, preparation methods, and wine pairings to provide informed recommendations.
- Handle payment transactions securely, issue receipts, and manage end‑of‑shift cash reconciliation.
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and table setting, ensuring all dining areas are clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Collaborate with fellow waitstaff, hosts, and management to resolve any service issues swiftly and professionally.
- Participate in regular training sessions, staff meetings, and quality‑control audits to continuously improve service delivery.
- Assist in inventory checks for tableware, linens, and service supplies, reporting any shortages to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (D4) in Hospitality Management, Tourism, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a waiter in a fine‑dining or high‑volume restaurant environment.
- Age 18 years or older; no upper age limit.

- Strong communication abilities in Bahasa Indonesia; proficiency in English is an advantage.

- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00, with occasional overtime during special events.
