Introduction
PT Mitra Berkat Abadi, the official vendor partner of PT Karcher Indonesia, is seeking enthusiastic and results‑driven individuals to join our retail team as Sales Promotor – Karcher Products. This role is based at the high‑traffic Atria Trans Studio Mall in Denpasar, Bali, and offers the chance to represent a globally recognised brand in cleaning technology while developing a solid foundation in B2C sales and merchandising.
Responsibilities
- Drive monthly sales performance for assigned store locations, consistently meeting or exceeding the targets set by the head office.
- Implement and monitor promotional activities created by the central marketing team, ensuring they are executed accurately and on schedule.
- Maintain Karcher’s visual standards by setting up product displays, managing shelf space, and keeping the sales area clean and organized in line with SOPs.
- Conduct regular stock checks, record inventory levels, and coordinate replenishment to avoid out‑of‑stock situations.
- Prepare detailed daily, weekly, and monthly reports on attendance, sales figures, and stock status for management review.
- Engage customers with product demonstrations, explain technical features, and provide after‑sales support to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities, recommending complementary Karcher accessories or related household equipment.
- Collaborate with store managers and other retail staff to create a cohesive shopping experience and share best practices.
- Participate in periodic training sessions on new product launches, safety guidelines, and sales techniques.
- Gather market intelligence, such as competitor activity and consumer feedback, and relay insights to the regional sales team.
Requirements
- Maximum age of 35 years; open to all genders.
- Minimum education: High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in electronics or household equipment sales, preferably with a reference letter (paklaring).
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate product benefits and handle objections effectively.
- Demonstrated up‑selling capability and a track record of achieving sales targets.
- Customer‑focused mindset with excellent problem‑solving and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently while also thriving in a team‑oriented retail environment.
- Basic proficiency in using POS systems, Excel, and other reporting tools.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing promotional calendars and store layouts.
