Introduction
PT XYZ Indonesia is seeking a dynamic Sales Officer – Marketing to join our team in Rantau Prapat (Sisingamangaraja). This front‑line role is focused on expanding our market presence by promoting company products to both existing and new customers, managing the sales cycle, and ensuring smooth credit processing. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to dealers and end‑users, driving revenue while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential customers through cold calling, networking events, and territory visits.
- Present and demonstrate the company’s product portfolio to existing accounts and prospect new business opportunities.
- Collect initial customer data, verify information, and prepare complete credit applications in coordination with the finance department.
- Monitor the progress of credit applications, communicate approval or rejection decisions promptly, and guide customers through any required follow‑up steps.
- Inform dealers and consumers about payment schedules, due dates, and payment locations, ensuring clarity on all transactional details.
- Maintain accurate sales records, update the CRM system daily, and prepare weekly reports on pipeline status and market feedback.
- Collaborate with the distribution channel to secure orders, negotiate terms, and resolve any delivery or service issues.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging customer needs, feeding insights back to product development and marketing teams.
- Participate in regular training sessions, product knowledge workshops, and sales strategy meetings to continuously improve performance.
- Provide exceptional post‑sale support, handling inquiries, complaints, and warranty claims to reinforce customer loyalty.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 (any field); graduates are welcome.
- Age: maximum 30 years; gender: male (as specified by the client).
- At least 1 year of proven experience in B2C sales, preferably within the automotive or consumer goods sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate effectively and build long‑term relationships.
- High level of integrity, diligence, attention to detail, and honesty in all business dealings.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a sales pipeline, meet targets, and adapt to changing market conditions.
- Own motor vehicle with a valid and active SIM A/C, enabling travel within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM tools, and basic credit analysis techniques.
- Flexibility to work Monday‑Saturday, 08:00‑16:00, and occasional travel to customer sites.
