Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and customer‑focused Server for the Food & Beverage (FnB) Department to join our vibrant team. The role involves interacting with guests, taking orders, serving meals and beverages, and ensuring that every guest leaves with a lasting positive impression.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed information about daily specials and promotional items.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, demonstrating proficiency with espresso machines, grinders, and steam wands.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including table setting, clearing, and resetting tables promptly.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, address any concerns immediately, and follow up to ensure resolution.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen, bar, and management teams to coordinate service flow and uphold quality standards.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, issue receipts, and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new menu items, service techniques, and industry trends.
- Assist in inventory checks, report any shortages, and suggest improvements to reduce waste.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Open to candidates of all genders; a professional and presentable appearance is essential.
- Prior experience as a server or barista is highly preferred, though motivated newcomers will also be considered.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing methods and ability to operate espresso machines confidently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine desire to exceed guest expectations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment and handle multiple tables simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, with shifts from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and drinks.
