Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and results‑driven Senior Executive Sales Representative to join our growing team in Surabaya. This position plays a pivotal role in expanding our market share for steel and metal products across Java Timur and surrounding regions. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical knowledge of iron‑based materials with a proven track record in both offline and online sales, while demonstrating a high level of professionalism, initiative, and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and approach new customers through cold‑calling, networking events, and digital channels.
- Present and demonstrate steel and metal product lines, explaining technical specifications, applications, and value propositions.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules while safeguarding company margins.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts, providing after‑sales support and addressing any service issues.
- Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates using Microsoft Office tools.
- Coordinate with logistics, production, and technical support teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Travel extensively across Jawa Timur, visiting construction sites, factories, and distributors to close deals and gather market intelligence.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the steel sector.
- Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events to increase brand visibility.
- Mentor junior sales staff, sharing best practices and helping them develop their skill sets.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; candidates with D3, D4, or S1 degrees are highly preferred.
- Maximum age: 32 years.
- At least 2 years of proven sales experience, preferably in the construction, manufacturing, or metal‑working industry.
- Active SKCK (Police Clearance Certificate) and a valid SIM C driving licence.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with a strong willingness to learn new products and market strategies.
- Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments.
