Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic Spesialis Bancassurance (BAS) to join our growing team in Jakarta Selatan and Jakarta Pusat. The role is based at our Hibank outlets, including the prominent locations of Polim and Mangga Dua. As a key member of the sales force, you will drive life‑insurance sales within the bank’s branch network, creating valuable financial solutions for our customers while strengthening the partnership between the bank and the insurance provider.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed sales plans for life‑insurance products across assigned Hibank branches.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to existing and prospective bank customers, presenting tailored insurance solutions that meet their financial goals.
  • Collaborate closely with branch managers, tellers, and relationship officers to identify cross‑selling opportunities and integrate insurance offerings into the overall customer journey.
  • Maintain a pipeline of qualified leads, track sales performance, and report key metrics to senior management on a weekly basis.
  • Organize and lead product presentations, workshops, and seminars for both internal staff and external clients to boost product awareness.
  • Negotiate policy terms and premiums, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and internal risk guidelines.
  • Provide post‑sale support, handling policy inquiries, claims assistance, and renewal processes to ensure high customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Continuously update product knowledge through training sessions and certifications offered by BNI Life Insurance.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders (bank personnel) and external partners (clients, insurance underwriters) to create a seamless sales experience.
  • Participate in market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities within the bancassurance landscape.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; preferably D3/S1 in any discipline.
  • Age between 21 and 30 years (maximum 35 years for some locations).
  • At least 1 year of proven experience in sales, banking, or insurance.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to explain complex insurance concepts in simple terms.
  • Professional appearance and a well‑groomed demeanor.
  • Motivation to pursue a career in sales and a genuine interest in the financial services industry.
  • Active AAJI (Asosiasi Asuransi Jiwa Indonesia) license is not required but considered a plus.
  • Fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; English proficiency is advantageous.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑functional team.
  • Flexibility to work Monday through Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, with occasional travel to branch locations.
