Introduction
We are seeking a diligent and detail‑oriented Staff Accountant – Financial Management and Reporting to join our dynamic finance team. Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and post daily journal entries, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Maintain the general ledger, reconcile bank statements, and perform month‑end and year‑end closing activities within tight deadlines.
- Produce comprehensive financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow analyses, and variance explanations for management review.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, tracking actual performance against targets and highlighting key deviations.
- Support the audit process by gathering supporting documentation, responding to auditor inquiries, and implementing corrective actions when needed.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoice processing, collections, and accurate aging analysis.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—such as procurement, sales, and HR—to resolve accounting issues and improve financial processes.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risk.
- Stay current with changes in tax regulations, accounting standards, and industry best practices, recommending updates to procedures as necessary.
- Provide ad‑hoc financial analysis and presentations to senior management to support strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum education: D3/D4 or S1 in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
- At least 1 year of professional experience in a similar accounting role.
- Strong grasp of basic accounting and financial principles, including GAAP or local equivalents.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., SAP, MYOB, QuickBooks) and advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and a results‑oriented mindset.
- High level of integrity, honesty, and accountability.
- Effective communication skills—both written and verbal—in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
