Introduction
We are seeking a motivated Warehouse Staff (Staf Gudang) to join the Hino Balikpapan team. Hino, a leading manufacturer of commercial trucks and buses, operates a bustling logistics hub in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. The warehouse plays a critical role in ensuring that parts, finished vehicles, and ancillary supplies move efficiently through the supply chain. As a member of our warehouse crew, you will contribute directly to the reliability of Hino’s distribution network, supporting both internal production lines and external dealer networks.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of automotive parts, accessories, and raw materials.
- Accurately record inventory movements using Microsoft Office tools and warehouse management software.
- Maintain organized storage locations, label items, and ensure proper stacking to maximize space utilization.
- Load and unload trucks, containers, and pallets safely, operating hand trucks or forklifts as required (training provided).
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full stock audits to reconcile physical inventory with system data.
- Prepare outbound orders, picking items according to pick lists, and packaging them for delivery to dealers or production lines.
- Collaborate with the logistics and procurement teams to schedule shipments, resolve discrepancies, and improve lead times.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols, including proper handling of hazardous materials and adherence to personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety incidents, or inventory variances to the Warehouse Supervisor promptly.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process enhancements that reduce waste and increase efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- Age: Up to 30 years old (flexible for exceptional candidates).
- Gender: Open to all genders.
- Fresh graduates are welcome; no prior experience required.
- Clean criminal record; integrity and honesty are essential.
- Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and punctuality.
- Effective communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia and basic English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for data entry and reporting.
- Physical stamina to lift and move items up to 25 kg and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work Monday through Saturday, 08:30 – 17:00.
