Introduction
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Collector Lapangan (Field Collector) to join our growing team in the bustling district of Gianyar. This role is pivotal in maintaining healthy cash flow by conducting on‑site debt collection activities, building strong relationships with customers, and ensuring timely payment of outstanding invoices. The successful candidate will be a self‑starter with a proven track record in field collections, excellent communication skills, and a deep familiarity with the Gianyar area.
Responsibilities
- Visit assigned customers across Gianyar to initiate and follow up on payment collection activities.
- Negotiate repayment plans, settlements, and discounts while maintaining the company’s financial policies.
- Collect cash, cheques, or electronic payments and issue receipts on the spot.
- Prepare detailed daily and weekly visit reports, documenting customer interactions, payment status, and any issues encountered.
- Monitor and update the internal collection database to reflect real‑time payment information.
- Achieve or exceed predefined collection targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) each month.
- Identify high‑risk accounts and escalate them to the senior collection team for further action.
- Provide feedback to the credit and sales departments regarding recurring payment challenges or customer concerns.
- Maintain the condition and proper use of the company‑provided two‑wheel vehicle and ensure a valid SIM C license at all times.
- Stay updated on local regulations and best practices related to debt collection and consumer rights.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in collection, preferably 2 years of dedicated field collection experience.
- Valid Indonesian driver’s license (SIM C) and personal two‑wheel vehicle for field mobility.
- Strong knowledge of the Gianyar region, including key neighborhoods and transportation routes.
- Excellent verbal communication and persuasive negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Proficiency in basic office software (MS Excel, Word) for reporting and data entry.
- Professional demeanor, integrity, and a customer‑focused attitude.
