Responsibilities
- Monitor, review, and validate all financial journal entries to guarantee proper classification and compliance with applicable standards.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of periodic financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash‑flow statements.
- Review inventory movements, subsidiary ledgers, and budget performance, ensuring variances are investigated and explained.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff in day‑to‑day operations, fostering a culture of accuracy, accountability, and professional development.
- Coordinate month‑end and year‑end closing processes, ensuring all reconciliations are completed on schedule.
- Verify and approve invoices, payments, and other financial transactions, maintaining strict internal control procedures.
- Prepare and present clear, concise financial reports to senior management and external auditors.
- Identify and implement process improvements that streamline accounting workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance data integrity.
- Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all postings are accurate, complete, and supported by appropriate documentation.
- Collaborate with other departments—such as procurement, production, and sales—to align financial planning with operational realities.
Requirements
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting or Finance.
- At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory accounting role, preferably within a manufacturing company.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team of accounting professionals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (intermediate to advanced level).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, MYOB) and possession of Brevet A&B certification is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- High integrity, meticulous attention to detail, and a results‑oriented mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of presenting complex financial information in an understandable manner.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
