Introduction
We are seeking a skilled Teknisi Listrik – Instalasi & Pemeliharaan Kelistrikan to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems across industrial facilities and high‑rise buildings. This role offers a stable Monday‑to‑Saturday schedule (08:00‑17:00) and the opportunity to work with modern power equipment such as gensets, UPS units, and advanced control panels. Responsibilities
- Perform installation of electrical wiring, conduit, lighting, and power distribution panels according to approved schematics and local codes.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on generators, UPS systems, motor drives, and auxiliary equipment to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, single‑line drawings, and layout plans to ensure accurate implementation of projects.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in machinery, control panels, and building infrastructure, using multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.
- Coordinate with mechanical and civil teams during plant shutdowns or building renovations to integrate electrical work seamlessly.
- Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of all work performed, including test results, service reports, and as‑built drawings.
- Ensure compliance with K3 (occupational health and safety) standards, including proper lock‑out/tag‑out procedures and personal protective equipment usage.
- Assist in the planning and budgeting of electrical projects by providing technical input and cost estimates.
- Participate in emergency response teams for power outages or equipment failures, delivering rapid, effective solutions.
- Mentor junior technicians and apprentices, sharing best practices and reinforcing a culture of safety.
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; a D3/S1 in Teknik Instalasi Listrik (TITL), Teknik Listrik, or Teknik Elektro is highly preferred.
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in industrial or commercial electrical installations; fresh SMK graduates with relevant industry internships may be considered.
- Experience working in factories, manufacturing plants, or multi‑storey building complexes.
- Possession of an electrical safety certificate (e.g., K3) or relevant industry certifications is a strong advantage.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layout drawings.
- Solid understanding of power distribution systems, control panels, gensets, UPS, and motor control circuits.
- Ability to operate electrical measuring instruments accurately and safely.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, capable of troubleshooting complex machinery and electrical failures.
