Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated Teknisi Perawatan Peralatan to join our expanding restaurant operations in the Bulungan region. This role is essential for maintaining the reliability and safety of kitchen equipment, mechanical‑electrical‑plumbing (MEP) systems, and civil infrastructure across our outlets nationwide. The ideal candidate will possess solid technical training, hands‑on experience in restaurant environments, and the flexibility to work rotating shifts in a fast‑paced, service‑driven setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective repairs on all restaurant equipment, including noodle makers, fryers, stoves, cup sealers, boilers, griddles, cold storage units, and related MEP systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve basic electrical and plumbing issues that affect daily restaurant operations, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Replace faulty components, calibrate machinery, and conduct functional testing to verify that equipment returns to optimal performance.
  • Document daily work activities in detailed reports, highlighting problems encountered, corrective actions taken, and recommendations for future improvements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company safety policies and national occupational health standards.
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, store managers, and the central engineering team to prioritize repair tasks and schedule shutdowns strategically.
  • Assist in the installation of new equipment during restaurant openings or refurbishment projects, providing technical guidance and ensuring compliance with design specifications.
  • Participate in regular training sessions on emerging kitchen technologies, energy‑saving practices, and updated safety regulations.
  • Travel to various locations across Indonesia, with a primary focus on assignments in North Kalimantan, and adapt quickly to differing site conditions.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent; technical diploma (K) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering is highly preferred.
  • At least 2–4 years of proven experience maintaining kitchen and restaurant equipment such as boilers, griddles, fryers, refrigeration units, and related MEP systems.
  • Willingness to work in shifting schedules, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational demands dictate.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP principles, equipment troubleshooting, and civil maintenance in a commercial food‑service environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills, with a focus on practical, cost‑effective solutions.
  • High personal integrity: honest, disciplined, responsible, loyal, creative, hardworking, proactive, innovative, and highly dedicated.
  • Physical fitness to handle manual tasks, lift heavy components, and navigate confined spaces safely.
  • Willingness to be deployed nationwide and specifically to the North Kalimantan area.
  • Relevant technical skills: electronic maintenance, mechanical repair, facility upkeep, and systematic troubleshooting.
