Introduction

Our early‑childhood education center is seeking a dedicated Tentor Pendidikan TK who will deliver the national curriculum to preschool learners. As a key member of our teaching team, you will create a nurturing environment where children aged 4‑6 develop foundational literacy and numeracy skills—commonly referred to as “Calistung.” This role not only supports the academic growth of each child but also fosters social, emotional, and motor development in line with Indonesia’s National Curriculum standards. If you are passionate about shaping young minds and enjoy interactive, play‑based teaching, we invite you to join a vibrant community committed to excellence in early education.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement daily lesson plans for Calistung that align with the national curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Utilize hands‑on activities, storytelling, games, and visual aids to reinforce reading, writing, and basic arithmetic concepts.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independence.
  • Monitor each student’s progress through observation, informal assessments, and weekly reports, adjusting instruction as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, providing updates on academic milestones, behavior, and any areas requiring additional support.
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and the curriculum coordinator to share best practices, develop interdisciplinary projects, and ensure consistent instructional quality.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development workshops, and community events to stay current with early‑learning methodologies.
  • Administer classroom management strategies that promote respect, cooperation, and positive reinforcement.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate attendance records, lesson materials, and student portfolios.
  • Support school-wide initiatives such as health and safety drills, cultural celebrations, and parent‑teacher conferences.

Requirements

  • Minimum education: SMA/SMK or equivalent (high school diploma). Preference given to candidates with early‑childhood education certificates or related training.
  • Age limit: Up to 35 years old, ensuring the energy and enthusiasm required for preschool instruction.
  • Gender: Open to all genders; we value diversity and inclusivity in our teaching staff.
  • Prior experience: While no mandatory experience is required, any background in tutoring, childcare, or teaching preschool children is highly advantageous.
  • Core skills: Strong communication, patience, creativity, and the ability to simplify complex concepts for young learners.
  • Specific competencies: Demonstrated ability to develop Calistung skills, manage classroom dynamics, and engage parents constructively.
  • Technical proficiency: Basic computer literacy for record‑keeping and use of educational software.
  • Personal attributes: Compassionate, reliable, punctual, and eager to pursue continuous professional growth.

Benefits

  • Competitive monthly salary with performance‑based incentives.
  • Comprehensive health insurance covering medical, dental, and vision care.
  • Paid annual leave, sick leave, and official public holidays.
  • Professional development allowance for workshops, certifications, and conferences.
  • Uniform provision and teaching material reimbursements.
  • Mentorship program pairing new tutors with experienced educators.
  • Friendly, collaborative work culture focused on employee wellbeing.
  • Opportunities for career advancement into senior teaching or curriculum leadership roles.
