Introduction
We are seeking a friendly and professional Waiter to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional food and beverage service to our guests, ensuring every dining experience is memorable. The position is open to candidates who have at least one year of hands‑on experience in a similar environment, possess strong communication skills, and can thrive under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Working hours are Monday through Saturday, from 08:00 to 17:00. The successful candidate will be expected to collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow front‑of‑house team members to uphold our high standards of service.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and present menus with a clear explanation of daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, input them into the POS system, and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve dishes and drinks in a timely manner, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor table status, refill drinks, and anticipate guests’ needs to enhance the overall dining experience.
- Handle payment transactions, process invoices, and provide receipts while maintaining confidentiality.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including setting and clearing tables, polishing utensils, and performing routine checks for any hazards.
- Collaborate with teammates to manage peak periods efficiently, supporting colleagues during busy service times.
- Address guest complaints or concerns with empathy, resolve issues promptly, and involve management when necessary.
- Participate in regular staff briefings, training sessions, and safety drills to stay updated on menu changes and service protocols.
- Assist with inventory checks, restocking of supplies, and reporting of any equipment malfunctions.
Requirements
- Minimum education: High School Diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- Gender: Female candidates are preferred for this specific posting.
- At least 1 year of proven experience in food and beverage service within a restaurant or café setting.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Demonstrated honesty, reliability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Proven capacity to perform effectively under high‑stress, fast‑paced environments.
- Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and proper handling of alcoholic beverages.
