Responsibilities
- Greet guests promptly with a warm smile, escort them to their tables, and present menus while explaining daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, input them into the POS system, and ensure timely delivery to the kitchen.
- Monitor table settings, replenish utensils, and maintain a clean, organized dining area throughout service.
- Collaborate closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to coordinate order flow and resolve any special requests.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items, accommodate dietary restrictions, and address guest inquiries with professionalism.
- Handle payment transactions, issue receipts, and process refunds in accordance with company policies.
- Assist in opening and closing duties, including setting up stations, restocking supplies, and conducting end‑of‑shift inventory checks.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new menu items, service protocols, and safety standards.
- Uphold health and safety regulations, ensuring food handling and sanitation practices meet or exceed industry guidelines.
- Foster a collaborative team atmosphere by offering support to colleagues during peak periods and sharing feedback for continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma (SMA/SMK) or equivalent.
- At least six months of experience in a restaurant or similar hospitality setting.
- Strong communication skills in Bahasa Indonesia; additional language abilities are a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team.
- Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a genuine passion for serving guests.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a sense of responsibility for personal and team performance.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work Monday through Saturday, with shifts from 08:00 to 17:00.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service techniques, including proper table settings and plating.
