Introduction
PT Silverindo, a leading construction and infrastructure firm operating across Indonesia, is seeking a dedicated Tukang Bangunan (Civil Construction Worker) to join our dynamic team. This full‑time position is based in the thriving industrial areas of Bitung and Tangerang, offering a stable work schedule from Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30. The ideal candidate will be a physically fit, motivated male professional who is eager to apply his hands‑on experience in civil building repair and contribute to the high‑quality standards that define PT Silverindo.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and emergency repairs on civil structures, including walls, floors, foundations, and roofing systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
- Operate and maintain construction tools such as brick cutters, concrete mixers, polishing machines, and power drills safely and efficiently.
- Prepare detailed daily work reports and progress updates for supervisors, highlighting completed tasks, material usage, and any issues encountered.
- Collaborate with site engineers, foremen, and other tradespeople to coordinate workflow and meet project milestones.
- Inspect work areas for compliance with occupational safety and health (OSH) regulations and company SOPs, promptly addressing any hazards.
- Assist in the preparation of material lists, ordering of supplies, and inventory checks to avoid project delays.
- Provide mentorship to junior laborers, sharing best practices for masonry, concrete finishing, and surface polishing.
- Occasionally transport tools and small equipment using a personal or company‑provided vehicle (considered a valuable asset).
Requirements
- Minimum education: SMP/MTS or equivalent.
- Age range: 25‑35 years; male gender as specified by the client.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in civil construction, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar repair‑focused role.
- Demonstrated proficiency with construction tools such as brick cutters, concrete mixers, polishing equipment, and general hand tools.
- Strong understanding of building repair techniques, structural integrity assessments, and standard construction practices.
- Knowledge of workplace safety standards, ability to follow SOPs, and commitment to maintaining a hazard‑free environment.
- Physically healthy, with the stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods and lift heavy materials safely.
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle; a valid driver’s license is a plus and considered an advantage.
- Willingness to be placed in either Bitung or Tangerang and to relocate if required.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with supervisors, peers, and subcontractors.
- Professional attitude, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility toward project deadlines.
